Thank You

There are so many things taht we question in life. Things that we sometimes don't think why we are questioning them of their existence. Sometimes we don't understand that they are their because we are co-existent of each other but not co-terminus...hehehe...

Recently, I blogged here that my BFFs are Anny and Gin. Anny chose to be a full time wife and would eventually move to back to Bicol to fulfill her life long maternal responsibilities. She has a very simple life and a very simple dream ---- to be a happily married to the man she loves and eventually raise their kids. He may be out there working crossing continents, she'll just be here to be a loving and faithful wife to him. And of course, to fulfill her promise to God when she said YES to marry him --- to love and to hold in sickness and health, for richer or for poorer, she'll be there for him all the way. It was a saddening moment for me and Gin to know that she finally is ready to let go of everything to become all of these.

Very recently, my other friend Gin told me that she has been shopping around for better opportunities outside West. Then last week, she was set for an inteview in one of the major shipping companies in the Philippines, if not, in the whole world. A close friend of hers told her of an opening in their company and that they are looking for QA people and is asking her if she will be that willing to apply for it. So she did...she applied for it. For the whole week, I know she had given it some big thoughts if she's ready for it and if she's willing to let go of something she is used to be doing for the past 4 years. Last Monday, she sent me an SMS telling me that she's really giving it deep thoughts and that she's thinking of taking that chance. So I told her to take it for I have huge confidence on her that she'll make it big there.

Since that day, she has not sent me any update about it. I don't know if she signed the contract and will be leaving before we transfer to Makati. Until tonight. I was chatting with Clars and I was surprised when she told me that Gin already passed her resignation effective two weeks from yesterday. It was really a shock though I know it's coming but, yeah...I am really really surprised. It rocked me to my foundation. It just sink in, right at this very moment, that 2 of my closest friends will not be here in 2 weeks time. Anny went ahead then here comes Gin, leaving me behind. It's so hard and it really hurts me a lot. My dearest friend is leaving soon. I may not be her bestest best friend but I consider her as one.

This blog exudes sadness but yah know what?!? I am very thankful that these women came into my life. They just don't know how greatful I am to have known them. It may not be seen but I know deep in my heart, I have changed with their help.

I love these women and I am very thankful for the friendship they shared with me for the past 4 years. And as we all promised, we won't be strangers to each other come this event in our lives.

I love you mah friends, Anny and Gin! I will never forget the two of you!

It's a very good Wednesday

I felt like seeing her yesterday so I texted her insisting that we meet. I was already in front of SM Valenzuela before 10am and when the guards finally opened the doors, I went straight to sit on one of the chairs in Chowking. I texted her again to inform her that I was already there. I was starving when she arrived so I asked her if we can eat somewhere so we headed to this Panciteria in front of the municipal hall. After we ate, we headed back to SM so we can chill for a while. We went first to Mossimo to check on their sale goodies. We found two pairs of pants that really looks good on her so we decided to get it when we return there. After a while, we went to Quantum and to sing a couple of songs but among the 12 songs we sang, Angel of Mine was the one that hit us big time.

I don't know why but I felt warm during the entire chill. For all I know I love her and she makes me happy.
