[Poem] Thank You, Lord

As the early wind breezes through my window
And the sun bids me ahoy and hello
I stare at Your wonders
And thank you Lord.

As the dew damps the grass of the land
And rain waters the thirsty dry sand
I stare at Your wonders
And thank you Lord.

As the majestic eagles fly above the sky
And strong wind propels him up high
I stare at Your wonders
And thank you Lord.

As the breakwater cuts the raging sea
And banks stop a river overflowing
I stare at Your wonders
And thank you Lord.

As the trees grow tall on a wide plain
And flowers color the land as paint
I stare at Your wonders
And thank you Lord.

As the solar ball gives the day heat and light
And the lunar guy cuts the darkness of night
I stare at Your wonders
And thank you Lord.

I can think of many things You did
So many things to write of Your great deeds
There are no words to exactly describe
But all glory to You Lord, ascribe!

For everyday encounter we have with the people around us with the knowledge that God is the source of everything that we have, there is one thing that we forget to do - saying THANK YOU. As one individual, here are the list of things that I am thankful for every waking hour of the day:


I thank my family - Tatay, Nanay, Jesse, Abeng, Catherine and Butchoy
I thank my best of friends - Gin, Joice, Anny, Tony and Agie
I thank my spritual family - Victory Pioneer
I thank my 121 sisters - Dace and L.A.
I thank my work babies - Ochie, Jona, Marianne, Donna, Sharon, Robie, Emma Riza and Blessy
I thank my work brothers - Jeff, Ric, Rex and Kris
I thank my CVG babies - Mark, Paulo, Kate, Ron, Jellie, Astrid, Belle, Nigel, CK, KP, Mica, Rina, Eres, Jerlozalyn
I thank my Silver City VG Family - Patti, Heidi, Maan, Teplel, Marybeth, Pinky, Chloe, Yasmin, Tanya, Nix, Jerome, Angelo, Carlo, Nino, Dondi, Jairus, Martin
and I thank my critics and those who do not like me however, Jesus told me to love my enemies and so I did. :)


I thank the air that I breathe - it keeps me alive
I thank chirping birds that brings music to my ears
I thank the smell of the newly cut grass - it makes me breathe to the new dawn
I thank the sun that shines through the dark clouds of the night - it brings light to a new day

But most of all, I thank GOD for the renewed grace and mercy every single time. He is the reason why I am thankful for the ones I first mentioned.


There is just a great feeling when you are being thankful for all the things you have in your life. I thank God for bring these to my life and so I look forward on more years to spend with y'all.

These are variations of one important sentence in our daily conversation but how often do we give this to the people that matter to us? In our daily encounter with them, how many times do we stop by to stop, smile and say hi to them? How many times do we pass by our people's station and tap their back? Do you greet your boss good morning when you bump into him at the hallway? We then would ask ourselves, what good does it do to them? Does it have any effect on them when we do this YES! These are simple gestures of appreciation and everyone deserves it.

Stop. Smile. Greet. Appreciate. These make wonders.

[Blog] Steadfast Love

Last Sunday, I heard a very old Christian song that the long time Christians have been singing like forever and it talks about the steadfast love of the Lord that no matter what we have gone through or what are the choices we make, His love will be there unshaken and steady. This is a hymnal song by the Maranatha Music and I want you all to be blessed as the song is:

Lord, You are the author of everything in this world and I am so happy to know that I am serving a God of love, grace and mercy. You renew these everyday so that we may receive a new thing from You. Forgive me for I shortchange you with a lot of things. Lord, thank you for assuring us that we have a God that we can lean to and we can trust every word You say. I am forever thankful of you my God!
