[Blog] It's all about Jesus

Our lives is a work of art so why are we not giving premium to it? Yes, we may have clothed ourselves with fine jewelry, we may have bought the most expensive dresses and packed our things up in an LV bag but is this how we give premium to life? By putting a front on ourself?

It was said in the Scripture, "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given. And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. " (Isaiah 9:6-7) This prophecy has been fulfilled in the New Testament saying, "And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. " (Luke 1:31-32) The promise of God that He will send the Prince of Peace who will bring forth justice forward to forever.

Not so long ago, hmmmmm.... about 2,000 years actually, there was a man who walked the streets of Israel who said to be the Son of God. His name is Jesus. He did a lot of miracles here and there. He taught His disciples through parables. He fought religions. He is what the prophets in the Old Testament prophesied of coming. He is the one we have been waiting for. Fast forward, He died on the cross to wash away the sins of the world. This is how God gave premium to our salvation. God the Father sent forth His Son to shed His blood to pay for our sins. This is what is PREMIUM is all about. A prize. An award.Something offered free. These are some of the definitions of that word. He offered His son to pay premium for the salvation of His creation.

To date, Jesus still lives and sits at the right hand of the Father. (Acts 2:33a) God the Father may have sent another Counselor - the Holy Spirit - who will teach us all things and who will remind us of everything Jesus said to us (John 14:26), we still cannot discount the fact that one day, in the olden days, there was a man who was prophesied to be the God, Wonderful, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace who died on the cross to pay for our sins. Look back. Pause and think for a while. Have I given that man who died on the cross premium attention? Have we given that man a fraction of our precious time? Have we given that man a premium seat in our lives? We do not have to shed more blood for Him for He is enough. What He did on the cross is enough proof of His everlasting love for us. His death on the cross is the ultimate showcase of God's care for our salvation. This life is not about us. What we have is not about us. What we still can have is not about us. It is about Jesus who made it good for us. Enjoy the life He gave us and make the most out of His divine gift for us.

God bless us all!
